The site is live at pwnagebybutchy.me — and before anyone says anything, yes, it is very much a work in progress.
What’s There Now
The site is the new home for everything that has grown out of Study Sessions with Butchy over the past eight years. Right now it has three main areas:
Courses — two series are in development. The Intelligence Series is built for practitioners who work with information for a living: investigators, analysts, and cyber security professionals who want to operate to a proper intelligence tradecraft standard. Intelligence Analysis 101 is the first course, available in self-paced and online instructor-led formats. The Cyber Engineering Series follows — the first course is the Cyber Engineering Bootcamp, an intensive in-person course for security engineers and infrastructure professionals who want serious technical depth.
Resources — Sentinel, an intelligence platform I am building for structured OSINT and breach-data investigation, has its own page. It is under heavy development and not yet available externally, but the page describes what it is being built to do.
Legal Stance — a project I have wanted to do for a long time: a practical analysis of Australian law as it applies to electronic communications, employers, law enforcement, and intelligence agencies. Not academic commentary — reference material for practitioners. Articles will be published as they are completed.
What’s Coming
There is a lot still to build. More courses, more resources, the Sentinel early access programme, and the Legal Stance articles. The blog will be the place where I publish shorter pieces alongside the main content — analysis, commentary, and the occasional write-up from the community sessions.
If any of this is relevant to what you do, follow along. The community that built Study Sessions with Butchy is the same one driving everything here — and it has always been better for having more people involved.
